Dr. Louella Grech is a Maltese warranted lawyer, specialising in corporate, trusts and financial services. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Financial Services (University of Malta), a certificate in Trust Law and Management together with a certificate in Taxation on Trusts, and a Diploma in Taxation (Malta Institute of Taxation).
Louella started her career with one of the ‘Big Four’ audit firms in Malta, advising clients on international tax aspects and providing services in corporate legal matters. Louella later joined an international trusts and corporate services firm where she managed the legal and corporate service lines, working heavily on implementing international structures involving Maltese entities, redomiciliation of companies to and from Malta, cross-border mergers, and acquisitions, amongst others. Louella then served as operations and legal director of a regulated financial services company in Malta for nearly four years, also holding the positions of compliance officer, money laundering reporting officer and company secretary, for specific periods of time. Louella also served as director and company secretary on a number of Maltese private companies.
Louella is a member of the Chamber of Advocates (Malta), Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP), Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT), Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
